Berlin has loads to offer visitors.
Berlin has loads to offer visitors. While we enjoyed seeing the “sites” our favorite place to visit was the German Technology Museum. We spent most of a day there and still had more to see. We enjoyed a quick lunch at the museum and carried on. We had to leave because we were exhausted, even though we were not able to visit every department! Getting around in Berlin was very simple as the public transport system is fantastic.

It was not my first time visiting the city. The 1st time was almost 20 years ago. At that time, the difference between west and east Berlin was still evident. Now everything is different. The hotel is quite far out from Berlin city centre but there's a tram stop literally in front of the hotel and a metro stop 15 mins walk which is not too bad. Haven't had breakfast so can't comment on that, but had coffee from the hotel restaurant and that was nice. Our stay would have been perfect if it wasn't for the noise issue which I've explained below.
